Soft drink brand's international TV campaign features 'sassy' marionettes dancing to Flashdance song
Diet Coke and London ad shop Mother get into the act with "Maniac," presenting glammed-up marionettes that dance around the office.
Diet Coke has moved from singer Duffy to sassy marionettes dancing to She's a Maniac from 1980s movie Flashdance in a new international TV ad campaign.
The multi-million pound TV campaign will introduce Diet Coke's latest brand ambassadors, three "savvy, sophisticated and witty" marionettes called Eleanor, Bernadette and Irene.
The characters, who "love it light", work together at a fashion magazine and "take a spontaneous and light-hearted attitude to whatever life throws at them and not taking things too seriously – just like a real life Diet Coke girl".
